Over time, Żaneta also became a go-to contact for book illustration. Particularly noteworthy is her contribution to a short story by the well-known singer Lucy van Ork.
What began with abstract painting has since led to various art series—including “The Splendor of Icons”, “The World of the Schwackas”, and "A Riot of Color". Each series, in its own way, showcases Żaneta’s creative development and her unmistakable style.
Floral Artwork
At the heart of Żaneta Schwan’s art are real, dried flowers—pieces of nature full of life and energy. Each bloom is carefully selected, arranged, and embedded in acrylic.
In this way she creates works made not only of acrylic and various materials, but of genuine life energy. The flowers give the pieces palpable warmth, vitality, and soul—they make every work something unique and personal.
The flowers used come from different years, giving each painting a story all its own. Her works thus become not only one-of-a-kind pieces, but collector’s items in which time, memory, and nature are preserved forever.
